What to specify in your RFQ
Manufacturers quote faster and more accurately when your request covers these points.
- Valve size (DN/NPS)
Specify the nominal pipe size or DN/NPS range required so the manufacturer can confirm available end connections and flow capacity.
- Pressure rating / class
Give the required pressure class (ANSI/ASME, PN) or maximum operating pressure and temperature so materials and body design can be matched.
- Body and ball material
State preferred materials (e.g., stainless steel grades, carbon steel, brass, PVDF) and any corrosion/chemical compatibility requirements.
- End connections
Specify flanged, threaded, butt-weld, socket-weld or sanitary ends and the applicable standards (ANSI, DIN, JIS).
- Actuation and mounting
Indicate if manual, pneumatic, electric or gear-operated, and whether ISO 5211 mounting or custom interface is required.
- Seat and seal type
